You will not believe how easy this pie is!! This no-bake key lime pie only requires 3 ingredients and about 5 minutes, it is the perfect summer treat!
So you know the phrase,”easy as pie”? I’ve always wondered about that phrase because especially if you’re making crust from scratch pie is not easy to make.
It is easy to eat… but not easy to make! Except for this pie… it is stupid simple and really tastes amazing. It only requires 3 ingredients, and I use that term loosely because they aren’t even really ingredients, they are more like components that you just put together to make an amazing pie.
This is something that my mom has made for years, and I’ll give you a hint, you can very easily make other flavors! Just swap out the key lime yogurt for another flavor. Blueberry is amazing, raspberry is delicious… you really can’t go wrong.
But in our house the key lime is king. There is something about the lime flavor on a hot summer day that is just perfect. This no-bake pie makes an amazing dessert for the 4th of July, summer birthday parties, or just a weeknight dessert! It is so quick to make you can have it ready in a flash and it’s perfect for making ahead and pulling out of the freezer for guests!
My mom has made this pie for years, often we’ll be at our lake cabins and she pulls one out of the freezer and let me tell you, we all get excited!
They are great if you are feeding a crowd because you can make several in just a few minutes and have them waiting in the freezer. You can add whipped cream on top if you want to make them extra special!
Now this can be tweaked for dietary needs pretty easily. You can use low fat or sugar free yogurt and cool whip. You can swap the yogurt for almond or coconut milk yogurt and use a dairy free whipped topping. The ingredients can change but the ease doesn’t!
Here’s what you’ll need for your no-bake key lime pie-
1- Container Cool-Whip (thawed)
3- Containers Key Lime Pie Greek Yogurt
1- Graham Cracker Crust
Optional- Lime zest for garnish
(full disclosure I did put some green food coloring in mine to get prettier pictures)
Fold your yogurt and whipped topping together in a mixing bowl, until thoroughly combined.
Now spoon the mixture into your graham cracker crust. Sprinkle with lime zest if desired.
Now cover it and pop it in the freezer for at least an hour.
Yep, that’s it. It is really that easy!
It can be made and frozen a few days in advance if you’d like, just remove it from the freezer for about 15-20 minutes before serving so that it can soften just a bit.

- 3- Containers Key Lime Pie Greek Yogurt (can use sugar free or low fat)
- 1 – Container Cool Whip – thawed (can use sugar free)
- 1 – Graham Cracker Crust
First fold the yogurt and cool whip together until well mixed.
Spread into the graham cracker crust.
Cover and freeze for at least an hour.
Keep frozen until read to eat, remove from the freezer about 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
