Use fresh Brussels sprouts-
These delicious brussels sprouts need to be made with fresh sprouts, frozen won’t crisp up well at all.
Serve with fresh herbs-
If you want to add a little brightness to this brussels sprouts recipe you can top the finished sprouts with some fresh thyme, parsley or rosemary.
Can I make these in a regular oven?
Yes! If you don’t have an air fryer you can make these in the oven. The cooking process is similar and they will be more roasted brussels sprouts instead of crispy but the flavors will still be spot on. After chopping the sprouts and mixing them in the oil and seasonings just place them in a single layer on a baking sheet greased with a little oil. Bake at 425 for about 10 minutes, then add the parmesan and continue baking. Cook time may vary so keep a close eye on them as they bake.
For added crunch-
If you want to add a little extra crispiness to these sprouts you can! Mix the parmesan with a couple of tablespoons of panko breadcrumbs or for a low carb option you can use pork rind crumbs.
