This is the easiest fudge ever, unlike traditional fudge recipes you don’t need any fancy equipment and only two ingredients! While I love to make 2 ingredient chocolate fudge you can make this fudge in a ton of flavors. With just some Sweetened Condensed Milk and chocolate chips you can have delicious fresh fudge that everyone loves!

You can make fudge as a great homemade gift, addition to a bake sale, for parties, or just to enjoy any time you want a sweet treat!

FAQ & Tips for Making This Easy Fudge Recipe

Don’t overcook your chocolate mixture- When you are melting the chocolate chips for your fudge mixture you don’t want to overcook it. Just heat it enough for the chocolate chips to melt. This will assure that your fudge is soft and creamy.

Line the pan with parchment– Parchment paper makes getting this fudge out of the pan very easy. If you don’t have parchment paper you can also line it with wax paper or non stick aluminum foil I do NOT recommend using non-stick spray the fudge will be difficult to get out.

How to store this fudge– This fudge can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for about a week. For longer storage store it refrigerated in an airtight container.

Variations and additions-

Use different flavored chocolate chips– This two-ingredient fudge can easily be made in different flavors by using different kinds of chips. I like to use dark chocolate chips for if you love milk chocolate you can use milk chocolate chips. You can use peanut butter chips for peanut butter fudge. You can make white chocolate fudge with white chocolate chips, or use butterscotch chips! You can split the batch and make two flavors to create swirled or layered fudge flavors.

Add in mix-ins- This fudge can be dressed up by mixing in your favorite mix ins or top it with tasty toppings. We love to add chopped nuts like walnuts, pecans or peanuts. You can mix in dried fruit like raisins, dried cranberries or even dried pineapple. If you are adding in ingredients you can ad 1/4 to 1/2 a cup while the fudge mixture is liquid. You can top your fudge as well, we love to add sprinkles, chopped nuts or colored sugar on top.

Ingredients for 2 Ingredient Fudge

1 – 14 oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 – 12 oz Bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Here’s How to Make this Two Ingredient Fudge Recipe-

First line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Next in a medium or large microwave safe mixing bowl combine the chocolate chips with the condensed milk.

Microwave in 30 second intervals mixing between each interval. Continue microwaving until the chocolate chips are melted. It should take about 2 minutes total.

Stir well to combine the two ingredients together completely.

If you prefer to not use the microwave you can place the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in a double boiler, or in a heat safe pan over a pot with about an inch of water in the bottom. Heat over medium heat, mix and melt the chocolate chips and condensed milk together.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.

When ready to serve, lift the fudge out of the baking pan with the parchment paper and place on a cutting board.

Use a sharp knife and cut the fudge into 1 inch squares and enjoy!
