FAQ & TIPS

Can I use one color of green candy melts?

Yes! I used two different colors to get the perfect “Grinchy” green but if you only have one shade of green that will work just fine!

Can I use square pretzels?

Absolutely! I used mini pretzel twists for this recipe because of their heart shape. However any small pretzels will work!

Add shortening gradually-

Candy melts are designed to melt smoothly but sometimes they aren’t as creamy as they need to be for dipping. Add in shortening 1 teaspoon at a time once your candy is melted to get the right consistency.
