So I had a hankering the other day. I was wishing something delicious and chocolaty and fudgy would fall out of the sky and into my mouth.
But all we got was snow.
Terribly unsatisfying for a chocolate craving.
So I took matters into my own hands and found myself a fudgy brownie recipe. I was ready to bake and I realized that the recipe called for butter and I had none…
I did however have coconut oil. So I swapped it for the butter.
Oh. My. Sweet. Chocolaty. Goodness….
I’ve made homemade brownies before and they were ok. But I have to admit I was still partial to the soft chewiness of brownies out of a box, or the kind from the grocery store bakery.
These however, will be my new go to recipe. They were a hit with the whole house and so nice and fudgy and delicious and a total craving quieter.
And did I mention they’re just as easy as the boxed kind. Win. Win.
