FAQ & Tips for Mini Pepper Pizzas

I like little pepperoni pizzas but you can top these peppers with any and all of your favorite pizza toppings. Some of our favorites are bacon, sausage, black olives and mushrooms.

Can I make these ahead of time-

If you want to prep these peppers ahead of time you can. You can cut the peppers and top them with your desired toppings and then keep them in an airtight container in the fridge until you are ready to bake them. This makes them the perfect appetizer for parties because you can have them ready to cook and on the table in just a few minutes.

How to store & reheat pepper pizzas-

You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. To reheat them you can place them back in the oven or toaster oven at 350 for about 5 minutes. You can also reheat them in the microwave. They are also great heated in the air fryer at 350 for 3-5 minutes.

Ingredients for Mini Sweet Pepper Pizzas

 Mini Sweet Peppers– Mini sweet bell peppers range in size and I like to use smaller ones for this recipe so that can be eaten in 1-2 bites.

Tomato Sauce– You can use your favorite pizza sauce or marinara sauce for these pizza stuffed peppers.

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese– Freshly shredded mozzarella cheese melts best but if you don’t have time to shred cheese you can use the pre-shredded kind.

Shredded Parmesan– Parmesan cheese adds another delicious flavor to these mini pizza peppers if you’re not a fan of parmesan you can use a little more mozzarella.

Mini Pepperoni- I like to use mini pepperoni because it is the perfect size for these little peppers if you can’t find regular pepperoni or prefer to use turkey pepperoni you can cut the slices into fourths so that they are smaller

How to Make Mini Pepper Pizzas

Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the peppers in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and white membrane to clean the peppers out.

Place peppers on the prepared baking sheet.

Spoon enough sauce into each pepper half to cover the bottom.

Stuff each pepper with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with shredded parmesan.

Place pepperoni on top of the cheese.

Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.

Serve warm

  • 5-10 Mini Sweet Peppers
  • ½ Cup Marinara Sauce
  • ½ Cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • ¼ Cup Shredded Parmesan
  • ¼ Cup Mini Pepperoni

Instructions
