Chocolate milk, is it one of your kids favorite things?
I know it is mine, even my 17 year old will pour himself a glass of milk and add a hefty dose of chocolate syrup on occasion.
And let’s face it, everything is better with chocolate on it.
What makes it even better?
When that chocolate is something you can feel good about giving your kids. When it doesn’t take the milk and make it unhealthy or full of hard to pronounce chemicals.
And even better? That you can make it in 5 minutes, and your kids proclaim it better than store bought.
It’s a win all around, a delicious chocolatey win.
Here’s what you’ll need-
1 & 1/2 Cups Honey- preferably a great quality raw honey.
1/2 – Cups Water
3/4- Cup Cocoa Powder
a pinch of salt
1/2- tsp Vanilla
Combine everything in the bowl of a mixer and mix on medium/high until well combine. Alternately you can throw it in a food processor and mix it all up that way.
Store it in an air tight container, in the fridge. Mix it in milk, pour over ice cream… any where you want to add chocolate goodness!
I’m always looking for great new treats- come follow along on Pinterest!
