Easy Ground Beef Fajitas Recipe

Ground beef fajitas are a quick and easy version of the family favorite! Ready in less than 30 minutes they are the perfect weeknight meal. Serve them up with rice, tortillas for a dinner the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Homemade Fajita Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano

Ground Beef Fajitas

  • 3 Tbsp Fajita Seasoning homemade or store bought
  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 Medium Onions
  • 3 Bell Peppers
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Place ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat sprinkle with 1 Tbsp fajita seasoning. Brown the ground beef until it is no longer pink.
  • Remove from skillet and drain, set aside.
  • Add olive oil to skillet add in the bell peppers and onion and 1 tbsp fajita seasoning cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until the fajita veggies are softened.
  • Add the cooked ground beef back to the skillet and another 1 tbsp fajita seasoning. Stir the beef and veggies together and heat over medium heat until the meat is warmed through.
  • Serve with corn or flour tortillas and your favorite fajita toppings.
