Big Mac Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Thousand Island Dressing
  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Cup Diced Onion
  • 1 Cup Diced Dill Pickle
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 8 Slices American Cheese
  • Dill Pickle Slices
  • 8 Hamburger Buns
  • Shredded Lettuce

Instructions

  • Place ground beef in a large skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring and crumbling as it cooks until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and drain, leaving about a tablespoon of drippings in the skillet.
    2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • Add the diced onions to the skillet and cook over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes or until translucent.
    1 Cup Diced Onion
  • Add the drained ground beef back into the skillet. Keeping the burner on low to medium heat, sprinkle on the salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Stir well to season the ground beef.
    1 Tbsp Onion Powder, 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Pepper
  • Add in the diced pickles, thousand island dressing and mayo. Stir until everything is well incorporated and allow to cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until everything is heated through.
    1 Cup Thousand Island Dressing, ½ Cup Mayonnaise, 1 Cup Diced Dill Pickle
  • Serve on a bun with a slice of cheese, shredded lettuce and additional pickle slices if desired.
