Grease a 13x9 inch pan.
In a large pot melt butter over med/low heat, once it is melted add in the marshmallows and continue heating, stirring frequently until the marshmallows are melted completely.
Add in the white chocolate and continue stirring until the chocolate is melted and well incorporated.
Remove the pan from the heat and add in crushed peppermint and rice krispies. Stir well until the cereal is evenly coated.
Press the mixture into your prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with additional peppermint and drizzle with chocolate if desired.
Let treats cool about 30 minutes before cutting
