Air Fryer Rotisserie Chicken

Cooking a whole chicken in the air fryer results in a mouth watering tender chicken with delicious crispy skin! This delicious air fryer rotisserie chicken is quick, easy and full of flavor! This makes the perfect weeknight dinner or whole chicken for meal prep!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Pound Whole Chicken
  • 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano

Instructions

  • First you'll want to remove any giblets and rinse the chicken thoroughly inside and out.
  • Next pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Next rub the chicken with olive oil inside and outside, run your hand between the breasts meat and skin to loosen it and rub olive oil on the meat.
  • In a small bowl combine salt, smoked paprika, garlic, oregano and pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, under the skin, and inside the cavity.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket chicken breast side down.
  • Set the temperature to 350 and air fry for 30 minutes.
  • Carefully flip the chicken over and continue to air fry for another 20-30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165 in the thickest part of the chicken breast.
