Ingredients

  • 1 lb Bulk Sausage
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese - softened
  • 4 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Shred cheddar cheese using a grater or food processor and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add in cream cheese and mix the cheeses together. I have found the best way to do this is with a wooden spoon.
  • Add in sausage and egg and continue mixing until well mixed.
  • In a separate bowl combine almond flour, baking powder, and onion powder, mix until well mixed.
  • Mix the almond flour mixture into the sausage mixture until all of the ingredients are well blended. You can do this with a wooden spoon or with your hands, kneading the ingredients together.
  • Scoop out the mixture in one tablespoon scoops and roll into balls. I like to use a small cookie dough scoop. Place on prepared baking sheet pan 1-2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container.
