Pizza grilled cheese is full of mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni and sauce sandwiched between buttery seasoned toasted Italian bread! These tasty sandwiches make the perfect lunch, dinner or snack!

Ingredients
8SlicesItalian Bread
8TbspButter- softened
1/2tspItalian seasoning
1/2tspGarlic Powder
Pepperoni- 16 slices deli size or 48 slices of regular pepperoni
8SlicesProvolone Cheese
8SlicesMozzarella Cheese
8TbspPizza Sauce or Marinara Sauce
Instructions
Place softened butter in a small bowl and add in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning, mix well until everything is well incorporated.
Spread the butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
Place bread buttered side down in a skillet over medium low heat. you can use a non-stick pan or a well seasoned cast iron pan.
Place one slice of mozzarella and one slice of provolone on the piece of bread.
Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce onto the slices of cheese.
Layer 4 slices of pepperoni onto the pizza sauce. Use 6 slices of pepperoni if using regular sized pepperoni.
Cover the pepperoni slices with another piece of mozzarella and provolone.
Place a second slice of bread, butter side up on top of the final pieces of cheese.
Allow the sandwich to cook for 3-4 minutes over medium heat and then carefully flip and continue cooking an additional 3-4 minutes.
Continue cooking, flipping occasionally until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts.
