Instructions

For Hash Brown Patties

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400
  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket evenly spaced in a single layer.
  • Lightly spray them with oil and sprinkle with salt or other seasonings
  • Cook for 10 minutes
  • Using tongs or a spatula turn them over. Spray the other side lightly with oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • Continue air frying for another 5 minutes or until they are the desired level of crispy and golden brown.

For Country/ Diced Style Hash Browns

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees f
  • Place the hashbrowns in a large bowl and add in 1 tablespoon of your favorite cooking oil. Toss or stir the potatoes to evenly coat.
  • Place the frozen hash browns in the bottom of the air fryer basket the pieces can be touching and overlapping but don’t overcrowd the basket. I find my air fryer can hold 3 cups comfortably. Sprinkle them with salt to season.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes.
  • Toss or stir the potatoes sprinkle with a little more salt and continue to air fry for 10 more minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

For Shredded Style Hash Browns

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees
  • Frozen shredded hash browns can be a little bit tricky depending on the size of the holes in your air fryer’s basket. If the holes are large you may want to use a parchment basket liner to keep them in the basket. Be sure to use one with holes so that the air can circulate well.
  • Spread out the shredded hashbrowns in a thin layer in your air fryer basket, mine can hold about 3 cups comfortably. You want them to overlap but not be over crowded.
  • Spray the frozen hash browns with oil spray and sprinkle with salt.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes.
  • Using a spatula gently flip the hash browns. Lightly spray them again and sprinkle with more salt. Continue cooking for 5 minutes or until cooked to desired crispiness.
