Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sausage
  • 1 lb Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Cups Bisquick
  • 1/4 Cup of Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Chives

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Shred cheese using a grater or food processor.
  • Place the shredded cheese, garlic powder, chives and sausage in a large bowl and mix until well incorporated. The best way to do this is with a wooden spoon. If you prefer to use a mixer place the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
  • Add in the Bisquick to the sausage mixture and continue mixing. Add milk gradually, only adding enough to make the mixture easy to mix and so that there is no dry Bisquick.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon scoop about 1 tablespoon at a time and shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Place on prepared cookie sheet 1-2 inches apart.
  • Place in your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool a bit before serving warm.
  • Store any leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container.
