Preheat your oven to 350 and grease and flour a 13×9 inch pan.
In a small bowl or glass mix together your milk and lemon juice, set aside.
In another bowl thoroughly mash your bananas , set aside.
With an electric mixer cream butter and sugars together until well mixed.
Add in eggs one at a time mixing thoroughly after each addition.
In a medium-size bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add bananas to the butter, sugar, and eggs and mix.
Now add in the flour mixture alternating with the milk and lemon juice mix until everything is thoroughly mixed, making sure to scrape down the sides.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and place in the oven. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick comes out of the center clean.
Once the cake is baked allow it to cool completely before frosting.
To make the frosting-
With an electric mixer combine the cream cheese and butter, add in the vanilla, and a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
Add in your powdered sugar a little at a time mixing in between each addition until all the sugar has been added.
Once the cake is cooled spread the icing evenly across the top.
You can garnish the top with fresh banana right before serving if desired!
