Have you been to the mall this Christmas season? Have you checked out the prices on lotions and creams? How about the ingredient list? Not only is this gift quick and easy, but it is also something you can feel good about giving!
That being said. For this project all you have to do is put the coconut oil (solid not melted) in your mixer, and “whip it… whip it good” ( I am so sorry, I couldn’t resist) Start on a lower speed until it gets nice and fluffy, then turn it up to high and let it go for about 5 minutes.
As it’s mixing add in your essential oil.
Once it’s been whipped for about 5-6 minutes it will form “soft peaks” and it’s ready to go.
You can package this up in a jar, or recycle a pot from another cream or lotion.
If you’re giving this to someone who lives in a warmer climate or who keeps their house super warm, recommend that they keep it in the refrigerator.
This is a perfect present for teachers, neighbors… pretty much anyone with skin, that should cover your list!

I love coconut oil scrubs so I am really anxious to try this body butter. Thanks for sharing.
