DELICIOUS OREO POKE CAKE

Is there any flavor more classic than cookies and cream? This Oreo poke cake takes those flavors to the next level with rich chocolate cake, creamy vanilla pudding, fluffy whipped topping and of course Oreo sandwich cookies all topped with a drizzle of chocolate syrup!

Ingredients  Chocolate Cake  Cool Whip Milk Butter Egg Yolks Vanilla Sugar Corn Starch  Heavy Cream

Using the handle of a wooden spoon poke holes in rows across the cake.

Whisk together sugar, salt and corn starch in a large pot.

Add in milk & cream and heat over low/medium heat until just under a boil.

Whisk egg yolks in a medium bowl. Slowly pour in one cup of the warm milk mixture stirring constantly.

Add egg mixture, butter and vanilla to the milk mixture and continue heating, stirring frequently for 3-5 minutes.

Pour pudding mixture over the cake filling the holes and spreading the pudding across the cake.

Mix 5 crushed Oreos in the whipped topping.

Spread the whipped topping across the top of the cake and refrigerate for 30 min.

Roughly crush remaining Oreos and sprinkle them across the top of the cake.

Drizzle cake with chocolate syrup.
