I love Take 5 Candy bars… love love love them.

If you’ve never had one you should go buy one now… I’ll wait…

Whoever decided to combine chocolate, pretzels, peanuts, peanut butter and caramel all into one candy bar is a genius.

Or they had a raging case of PMS and figured out the best way possible to deal with it!

The other day I had this amazing idea… why not take that amazing combination and put it in a rice krispie treat???

That might be super genius!

So lucky for you I tried it, and now I am sharing it.

You are welcome!!

Take 5 Rice Krispie Treats

Here’s what you’ll need –

2- Tbsp butter plus a little for buttering the pan

1/2- Cup Crunchy Peanut butter

2- Cups Crushed Pretzels

4- Cups Crisp Rice Cereal

1/2- Cup Chopped Chocolate Covered Caramel Candies

1- Bag Mini Marshmallows

First chop up your candies into halves or fourths depending on their size. If they are super sticky and hard to cut pop them in the fridge for about 15 minutes before chopping.

Once they’re chopped pop them in the freezer while you’re putting everything else together.

Butter a 13×9 inch pan.

In a large pan melt your butter and add in your marshmallows. Stir over med/low heat until the marshmallows are mostly melted. Add in your peanut butter. Continue to stir until your peanut butter is well incorporated and your marshmallows are all melted.

Add in your pretzels and rice cereal and stir until they are evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.

Now take your chocolate pieces out of the freezer and toss them in, stir until they are well-distributed.

Press the whole mixture into your prepared pan. Let cool and then serve!

These disappeared so so quickly in my house… they are amazingly good!! Enjoy!!

This looks wonderful. What a great combo of flavors. I love the Take Five candy bar but it’s never quite fresh enough for me. This would not have that problem!
