I received Case of Adventure to review in exchange for my honest opinion. I have been compensated for my time
“There was a cracking noise and the crumbling of mortar. Rome put his Swiss army knife to work and carefully ran it around the edge of the stone, scraping away the plaster. He signaled to Ren, who pulled harder. Suddenly the whole stone came away from the wall. Together, they slid it out and gazed at the gaping hole that was left behind.”…..
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT???
I know you’re wondering right?
Let me introduce you to a unit study that is packed full of adventure, fun learning activities, and is super easy to use! Interested?
Introducing “Case of Adventure”
I’m a huge fan of unit studies, I think they are a great way to really immerse your kids in learning and cover several subjects all in one.
From the cover- “Dive into adventure with Ren, Rome, Jake, Libby and Tiffany as they discover an ancient coin and a mystery connected with a cuckoo clock which takes them to the beautiful land of Switzerland. In their quest to solve the puzzle, they unearth some fascinating history and recover a lost fortune.”
Bonus… they are a homeschooling family!!
There is also a chapter by chapter Destination Switzerland Unit Study and a MEGA Travel Activity Pack that are full of fun activities for each chapter plus additional resources such as videos and links to websites for further research.
Get your child’s imagination going!
From the very first chapter Cuckoo Clock Secrets in Switzerland sucks you in. Daniel didn’t even want to stop for the activities, he wanted to keep reading and find out what happened next!
However, I wanted him to get the full experience so we started in on the activities. In the unit study each chapter is outlined with fun lap book activities, worksheets, and ways to create an immersive experience.
Your child becomes an International Discovery Agent, they get an official badge, code book, and a passport. It’s so much fun to watch them become and agent and watch as they discover all the secrets along the way.
Along the way you get to set up your own airport, pretend you’re on an airplane (which we were excited to do since we’re taking a plane trip next month) Printable plane tickets, menus, and passport stamps make the travel experience fun and imaginative!
Daniel didn’t want to use the printable eye mask for his “plane ride” so he used his own!
Cover a ton of subjects!
My love for unit studies comes from combining a lot of learning and having it all interweave and connect. With Case of Adventure you connect history, geography, language arts skills, foreign language, currency and lots of creativity!
Printable maps, crossword puzzles, mini books, coloring pages… there are so many activities to enforce all that you learn!
One of the things I love is that you can do every single activity, or you can pick the ones you know your child will like the most. If you are a fan of lapbooks you can create one or you can just do the activities on their own. We made ours into a kind of scrapbook, doing each set of activities on it’s own page and placing it in a binder.
Fun for Kids and Easy for Mom-
Your kids will love the experience, the fun activities, and the great story. They’ll enjoy the activities, the imagination and getting to know the characters in the story.
As a mom you’ll love the teacher’s guide that outlines each chapters activities. You’ll love that you can take your time with each lesson and make this study last for several weeks or you can go at a faster pace and do it more quickly!
You’ll want to plan ahead before each lesson to have everything printed (it is a lot of printing!) and the activities set up, but your kids will love it! I find these lessons a great way to spend most of our schooling time, a break from ordinary book work for something fun and different!
You’ll also love that right now you can get 25% off your entire cart using the code 25LAUNCH
You can also download Case of Adventures Map Pack for free – it’s an awesome resource and a great way to see the quality products upfront! There is also a printable money freebie when you check them out on Facebook!
