Looking for a fun way to connect with your kids, have some fun, and keep them busy this Thanksgiving? This fun activity book has activities you can do together and that they can do independently! Just print it out and you’re ready to go!
Fall is in full swing and Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!
Thanksgiving has always been a favorite holiday in our house, and I’m always looking for ways to make it even more fun!
If you have little ones it can also be kind of hectic! You’re trying to clean and cook and busy little hands are trying to “help” you!
This printable Thanksgiving activity pack is great because it has fun activities that you can do with your kids to engage with them during the fall season and on Thanksgiving. There are also activities they can do by themselves to help keep them busy while you prepare dinner but still feel festive and fun! They are also a great way to sneak in things like basic math skills, letter recognition, and fine motor skills! Educational and fun, a total win-win!
Here’s what is included in this printable kid’s Thanksgiving activity pack!
There are a total of 6 pages in this activity book & here is what is included.
Roll & Color Pictures– You can do these with your kids or let them do it on their own. Grab a couple of dice and roll them then color the part of the picture that goes with the number you rolled. You can print out two pictures and take turns, whoever gets their picture colored first wins, or let them do it independently and just keep rolling til they complete the picture. (bonus- this is a great way to practice counting and numbers!)
Fall Alphabet Puzzles– Cut these puzzles out in strips and let your little one solve them. They can match the picture or order the letters (bonus learning!) and create a picture. This is another great independent activity or one to do together!
I-Spy & Fall Patterns- These two activity pages are great for little ones learning basic math skills like counting and patterns. Cut and paste to complete the patterns and find and count the pictures!
Roll for Candy Game– This is a fun game to play with your kids, or let a group of kids play together! It is simple and only needs some dice and candy! This would be a perfect after dinner activity, or just something fun to play on any fall day!
Fall Activity Cube– Have an afternoon of family fun with this activity cube! There are simple activities like jumping up and down, and others like carving pumpkins or making a scarecrow. Just give it a roll and find a fun activity to do together!
Draw Thanksgiving dinner– This is the perfect activity for your kids to do while you cook! Have them draw and color their favorite foods and what they are looking forward to eating! You could even print out two, one for dinner and one for dessert!
Fall Maze– Another great independent activity! My kids always loved mazes! They are fun and a great way to practice pencil skills and have fun doing it!
