School is out and summer fun is in full swing! There is nothing like lazy summer days, long nights around campfires, chasing lightning bugs, setting up lemonade stands, going swimming… the list goes on and on!

One of our favorite ways to spend time in the summer is at our lake cabin. Our boys love spending time with their friends swimming, making s’mores, and enjoying time outside!

Of course, they don’t want the fun to end at night so we have a lot of flashlights in our cabin.  However, sometimes they are hard to find, and when they are located their batteries are dead half the time, or they’re not working properly.

This year I thought it would be fun to make personalized kid’s flashlights for my son and a few of his friends. This is a great crafty project that can be done with your kids, or you make them as a fun summer celebration gift! These would make a great party favor, or craft project for kid’s camp or summer parties!

Now to make sure these don’t end up with dead batteries I chose Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries to power them all summer long! These batteries are the #1 longest lasting AA battery so I know they’ll last all summer long! I also stocked up for all our other battery needs because with a 20-year shelf life these Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries are perfect to have on hand! You can learn all about Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries here.

I picked mine up on a trip to my local Walgreens. What’s even better is from now until 6/30, you can earn 5,000 loyalty points when you buy an 8 pack or larger of Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries with Balance Rewards at Walgreens. The Balance Rewards program is free and super simple to join!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Personalized Kid’s Flashlights-

-Small Flashlight

-Washi tape

– Letter Stickers

-Paracord or Ribbon

-Glue

-Sequins, beads etc.

–Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries

The first thing you’ll want to do is use your washi tape to cover your flashlight to dress it up a bit. You can use a few different patterns maybe a different one for the handle and another for the top… you can do it however you want! I used a pattern, a solid and some fun glow in the dark tape!

Next, add the child’s name with letter stickers, then keep decorating with your other stickers, sequins etc. I like to use an industrial adhesive for projects like this so that it stands up to a lot of use. If you’re making these with kids you’ll want to use self-sticking items, a non-toxic glue, or make sure there is an adult to help!

Once you’ve got your flashlight all decked out it’s time to make sure you don’t lose it! Here’s where your ribbon comes in. If your flashlight already has a little hole in the end of the handle you can just thread your ribbon through and voila your flashlight has a lanyard. If Your flashlight doesn’t have a whole then you can use a rubber band to loop around your ribbon and then attach to your flashlight.

Before using your flashlight make sure your glue is dry and of course insert your Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries!

These fun little flashlights are perfect for adventures on a warm summer night! Make sure to stop by Walgreens and pick up a bunch of Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries to power all your summer fun!

You did a excellent job! This post sound really great.
I saw something similar a couple of weeks ago, something similar to this https://moonrisebaywine.com, but
you did in-depth research, and your post seems to be more compelling than others.

I am amazed by the arguments you provided in addition to the manner of your post.
I like when articles are both informative and interesting,
when even dull facts are presented in an interactive way.

Well, it is surely about your post.
