Slime is always fun, but when you can make some with a summery, beachy flair it is even more fun!

My youngest son is always looking for new and fun slime combinations, we’ve got a slime supply box in the cabinet, and I always snatch up fun add ins when ever I spot them. I also recommend if you are fixing up a slime supply box of your own that you get the big bottles of glue. It makes sense if you’re going to be doing a lot of slime making to just get the mega-size so that it will last you a while!

When I spotted some fun ocean confetti while on Amazon one day I knew that we could make a fun ocean slime!

So we broke out the slime supply box and whipped up this sparkly fun slime.

I’ve had a few conversations with friends about making slime. There are a bunch of different recipes out there using different kinds of glue, different activators… the possibilities are pretty endless.

While we love a traditional borax slime recipe, it is nice and bouncy and fun, but when you are adding in sparkles, or other add ins this slime makes a great clear base so that you can see all the fun things you’ve added in.

Here’s what you’ll need for your under the sea ocean slime

½ Cup Water

½ Cup Clear Elmer’s Glue

½ Cup Liquid Starch

1 Tbsp- Turquoise Glitter

1 Tbsp Fine Light Blue Glitter

2 Tbsp Ocean Confetti

First you’ll want to mix your glue and water and mix thoroughly.

Now add in both of your glitters and keep on mixing until it is well incorporated.

Next add in your confetti. They are a little hard to measure with a measuring spoon so just toss as many in as you’d like! The package I’ve linked to comes with 2 different packets of ocean confetti. You could use one for one batch of slime and the other for a future batch. I used a little of each.

Once your glitters are mixed in it’s time to add in your starch. Pour it in slowly while stirring.

Now it’s time to stretch and smush and knead your slime until it’s the right consistency. It can be a little sticky at first but the more you play with it the better it gets.

When you are done playing you can keep it in an airtight container or a ziplock baggie to keep it fresh for next time!
