I love Fall flavors… I’ve made no secret of that. Whether it’s pumpkin spice everything, or something delicious made with apples, I’m a sucker for the sweet spicey earthiness of Fall.
Do you know what makes them even better? When my favorite store ever comes out with an amazing selection of Fall products that have all the deliciousness that I love. Then I do a little happy dance right there in the isle… much to the dismay of my children.
Yep, sometimes I think I’m cool, and then I spot Pumpkin Spice K-cups and well… I’m not.
Thank you Giant Eagle. It’s little things like this that make me happy.
Not that they have to do much to be my store of choice. When it comes to grocery shopping Giant Eagle is always my first choice. They have everything. If I’m looking for fantastic produce, a great loaf of fresh bread with dinner, a bottle of wine, or anything else, I know I’ll find it. I also know that while I’m shopping I’ll enjoy it. I appreciate a store that has an atmosphere that is clean and spacious, nice music, and lots of amenities.
And pumpkin, apple, Fall deliciousness.
Well let me tell you. These Fall flavors are inspirational.
So I bought a bunch of them.
Throughout the store I filled my cart.
The juice isle.
The chip isle.
The special displays.
And then I brought it all home and started creating.
If you didin’t love me already you will after you taste what I came up with! These are just the perfetly balanced Fall flavor combination. Sweet and salty, chrunchy and chewy… I go on. I’ll stop now and tell you how to make them.
Here’s what you’ll need –
1- Bag of Giant Eagle Natures Basket Sweet Potato Pumpkin Chips
1/4- Cup Giant Eagle Pumpkin Spice Syrup
1/2- Cup Dried Cranberries
1/2- Cup Pecans
1/2- Cup Diced Apple (I used honeycrisp- yum!!)
1/4- tsp Cinnamon
First you’ll want to toast your pecans- preheat your oven to 375 spread them out on a cookie sheet and pop them in them in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until nicely toasted.
Once they’re toasted let them cool then sprinkle them with cinnamon and gently toss them. Now coarsley chop them.
You’ll also want to chop your cranberries just a little.
Once you’ve got everything toasted and chopped you’re ready to assemble.
On a large plate spread out your chips. Sprinkle your pecans, apples and cranberries over the top. Now drizzle the top with your pumpkin syrup.
Now their ready to serve… or to eat all by yourself!!
