Do you have a Toy Story fan in your house? Make some of this fun alien slime bright green with lots of eyes just like your favorite movie alien!
When my oldest son was a tiny boy he loved Toy Story. He had Buzz and Woody toys that went with him every where and we wore out the video tape…
Yep a VHS in one of those old school plastic cases that Disney put all their videos in. Be kind and rewind folks…
I remember the excitement when Toy Story 2 came out. Although Anthony was only about 2 years old he was so excited to see a new adventure with his buddy Buzz Lightyear.
It seems crazy to me that here we are 20 years later and a new Toy Story is going to hit theaters this summer. I am so thankful that although Anthony is 21 now my youngest is only 11 and still game to go see a “kids” movie with his mama!
One of the perks of homeschooling is that we can even go in the middle of the day when there are way less people in the theater!
Since it is likely that I will not have a little one by the time Toy Story 5 rolls around I decided to have some fun celebrating #4’s release. And what better way than with some super fun alien slime!
This alien slime would make a great party favor for a Toy Story themed birthday party, just make a batch and put in individual containers!
This slime is stretchy, sparkly and full of fun googly eye balls! The eyes even make a fun noise while you’re playing with it!
Here’s what you’ll need for your Toy Story Alien Slime
½-Cup Clear Elmer’s Glue
½- Cup Water
½- Cup Liquid Starch
5-8 Drops Neon Green Food Coloring I use McCormick
1-Tbsp. Neon Green Glitter
¼ -Cup Small Googly Eyes (not the self adhesive kind)
First in a large bowl combine glue and water, mix until well incorporated.
Next add in your food coloring.
Now it’s time for the glitter and googly eyes. Mix them in and stir thoroughly.
Slowly stir pour in your liquid starch stirring as you pour.
Now get your hands in there and knead and play with the slime to get it to a good consistency.
As you play with it the eyes may pop out but you can pick them up and squish them back in!
When you’re done playing you can put it in an airtight container to keep it fresh for next time!
Enjoy playing with your alien slime and getting ready for another fun
