Make sure you can find this later now!!
My 12 Days of Handmade Christmas was temporarily interrupted by the plague. It descended upon my house and despite my best efforts to avoid it and prayers that I had super momma immunity it got me…
So I’m a little behind and just getting my next gift up today. Its another you can whip up with minimal time. So if the plague descends upon your house you can still have handmade gifts to give!
This one is for the mommies in your life, a great little go to kit for your purse, backpack.. where ever!
This is super simple to put together you’ll need
– An Altoid or other mint tin
– Elastic 1/2 inch width
-Various First aid materials- I included band aids, antibiotic ointment, alcohol swabs, cuticle scissors, tweezers, some children’s Tylenol (I wrote the dosage on the back) and of course a lollipop!
– This label printed out business card size.
– A hot glue gun
If you wanted to you could paint your tin. I found some blank ones on Amazon, and I liked the look of the metal for this project.
You’ll need a 3 inch piece of elastic.
Now using your hot glue gun place a dot of glue about 1/4 inch in from the edge of the lid.
Here’s what I filled mine up with. Some other things you could include are, gauze, anti-sting medication, benadryl, or a disposable thermometer.
Stuff them all in. You’ll be surprised at what all can fit in one of these handy little tins!
Now print out your label on either sticker paper or regular paper. Glue it down.
And you’re done!! Another great gift made with lots of love!
