Are you a blogger trying to gain some traction on Pinterest? Are you just starting out and want to make sure you’ve got everything set up the right way? Here is the best way to set up your Pinterest account for massive success!
I’ve been blogging for a little over 4 years now, and one thing I’ve learned is that Pinterest is a blogger’s best friend.
I love Pinterest so much and have spent so much time figuring out how to make it work for my blog, how to grow my following, and drive traffic, that I ended up writing a Pinterest strategy guide to share with other bloggers!
What I’ve realized through working with other bloggers, questions that are asked in my Pinterest Facebook group, and reading a lot of articles is that often people get stuck when it comes to Pinterest.
Some bloggers set up an account and never really start using it, some still have a personal account but aren’t leveraging the power for their blog, and some aren’t using Pinterest at all.
There is so so so much to learn about Pinterest. You can dive in head first and get super detailed about the strategy, making the perfect pin, and figuring out how the smart feed works. But the basics are simple, and once you’ve got your account set up the right way you have taken the first giant step toward success.
You see the way you set up your Pinterest account has a lot more aspects then just filling out the about me page and starting to pin. You have to change the way you look at Pinterest to maximize your efforts there. You need to think about your business name, your board set up, key places for searchable keywords and more! It isn’t anything super tech-y or difficult but rather little details that put together the right way makes you have a profile that gets follows and re-pins!
Now here’s the thing. There are quite a few aspects to the way you set up your Pinterest account for success, key components that each take a little while to get just right. Sooooo, instead of making a giant blog post about it I decided instead to create an email series walking you through each step of the process. That way each day you can tackle one small portion and then move on to the next the following day!
At the end I’ve included a checklist with everything so that you can go through your Pinterest and make sure you’ve covered all your bases! Even if you’ve been on Pinterest for awhile you might benefit from going over your profile and boards with a fine tooth comb, little changes can make a big difference!
So join the challenge, tackle your perfect Pinterest profile one step at a time and set up your Pinterest account for massive success!
