This time of year Pumpkin gets all kinds of attention. And while you know I’m a huge fan of all things pumpkin, there’s another holiday flavor that I believe deserves some attention.
Oh I love those tart, juicy little berries, mixed in a fantastic sauce or baked good. YUM!!!
So today I have consulted the amazing bloggers who linked up to Wake Up Wednesday and rounded up for you a list of so many ways to use cranberries!
Don’t just limit them to a turkey side dish, these little berries can be used for so much more!
First from Upstate Ramblings we have some amazing looking Cranberry Orange cookies!!
Want to bake some more?? Try these Starbucks CopyCat Cranberry Bliss Bars from Simplee Thrifty I’ve never had the Starbucks’ ones but these look amazing!!
Oh let’s not stop there!! Calories don’t count at the holidays… these sweets look way too good!
Mrs. Toody Goo Shoes shared her Cranberry Apple pie!! Oh yum the sweetness of apples… the tartness of cranberries…
Another pie! But this one you can hold in your hand… you could go ahead and eat these for breakfast and call it a Pop Tart… because then you can have pie for breakfast! I know I will when I bake up these Cranberry Orange Hand Pies from Annie’s Noms.
Now if you are a traditional cranberry eater and prefer them as a compliment to your turkey, you’ll want to check out this recipe. Lemons and Laughs shared her Cranberry Glazed Chicken and it looks amazing!
Or whip up some Fresh Cranberry Jam from This Silly Girls Life. You could use this on your toast or your turkey! My kids love the jelly cranberry sauce so I think they’ll eat this with a spoon!
And last but certainly not least. One of the best ways to serve cranberries that we all know and love is a delicious homemade sauce. Head over to Create With Joy and check out her recipe.
Ok now what are you waiting for?? Get some cranberries and get cooking!!
