I am a huge fan of all things sweet & salty. There is something about the combination of pretzels and chocolate that is so delicious.
So when I was introduced to a Take 5 bar I was in love. Whoever combined pretzels, peanut butter, and chocolate should be given a Nobel prize.
I was struck by inspiration while searching my cabinets for peanut butter ball ingredients to make some for the kids. There like a beacon were mini chocolate chips and pretzels…
And deliciousness was born. A dare I say slightly healthier than a Take 5 bar.
So here’s what you’ll need for this craving satisfying treat.
1- Cup Peanut Butter
1-Cup Powdered Milk
1/2- Cup Honey
1/3- Cup Mini-Chocolate Chips
1-Cup Crushed Pretzels
1/2 Cup Crushed Pretzels (for rolling)
Put everything but your 1/2 cup pretzels in a big bowl.
Now using a spoon or a scoop, form the dough into balls.
Roll in your reserved pretzels
Refrigerate for 1/2 and hour or until set. (You can eat them with out refrigerating too, they’re just squishy)
Keep any that are uneaten (if there are any) in a sealed container in the fridge.
