I came across these cookies on Pinterest and I was intrigued.
Can you make a cookie without flour? I was skeptical and thought I may end up with a mess, or with something inedible.
Go figure though, it worked.
Now before you rejoice at the idea of a guilt free cookie, let me share my results.
The reviews were mixed. Anthony loved them, he said, “They’re not great at first but after you eat one they’re really good.” Then he ate like 9 of them.
I think what he was trying to say is this. If you are expecting a buttery, brown sugary, traditional peanut butter cookie, you’ll be disappointed. Once you eat one though you realize that these chewy, soft, not as sweet alternatives are pretty darn tasty.
Daniel shoved three in a row into his mouth whole, and then went back for more.
Scott did not like them at all. Nathan said they were Ok.
I just finished off the last five and they totally took care of my cookie craving.
Like I said mixed reviews, but I’d recommend trying them, I think they’re tasty!
Here’s what you’ll need-
1- Cup Peanut Butter
1- 8oz pkg Cream Cheese (softened)
1/2 -Cup Honey
1/4 -tsp salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Preheat the oven to 325
Cream the butter in an electric mixer until smooth and then add the other ingredients. This will result in a peculiar dough/ batter, that you will think is probably going to run… it won’t.
