I am our homeschool co-op art teacher, which I may have mentioned before, I honestly can’t remember (and the coffee hasn’t kicked in enough to motivate me to read through my past posts)
Today’s project is making prints with everyday objects. I’ll be talking to the kids a little about different kinds of printing and then giving them this fun and simple project to work on. I like to mix a little “lesson” with a lot of hands on.
Here’s what you’ll need
Paint- I use tempera and keep it simple with primary colors
Something to hold your paint
Card stock- or paper, I just like the card stock because its thicker
Anything “dippable” celery, potatoes, tp rolls, apples, get creative!
Dip lightly into the paint
|Excuse the blurriness, apparently the camera’s coffee hadn’t kicked in either!|
Now stamp away!! Today I’m having the kids do three different projects.
